Supply of Agricultural Inputs, Fertilizer and Food Commodities

Whilst food security remains an integral part of national policy, agricultural output only meets 50% of the country's food needs in the Gambia. HB Sissoko General Trading has given priority to this sector to inject competitiveness, generate employment, establish and strengthen a strong link in the critical component of the supply chain of this sector.

Media

The media is generally regarded as the fifth estate of governance. Its operation is crucial to the support of national development with regards to the sensitization and generation of public awareness in support to government programs of development. Its presence in the national development spectrum is seen by HB Sissoko General Trading as prudent investment outfit. Our media investments span the areas of advertisements and the operation of a Radio and Television Station.

Service Industry

The service industry contributes 58% to the GDP of the country. The activities in this sector extend over a large area of investment possibilities. HB Sissoko General Trading has generally secured a good niche in the supply sub sector market of this industry. We provide timely and quality supply of office supplies and equipment to the sector.

Importation and Export of Petroleum Products

Energy is commonly described as the engine that drives the economy. Although energy is directly associated with the production of electricity, the issue of food security, mentioned above, is intricately related to the sustainable supply of energy services in most aspects. Food production, processing, transportation and preservation for certain food items depend on a larger extent on the availability of energy services.
